We’re a group dedicated to raising awareness and providing suicide prevention for young adults through dirtbike riding and outdoor experiences.

ABOUT

Our Story

At Wide Open: Brody Hills Foundation, each of us has encountered the impact of mental health in our lives, whether it's through our own struggles or witnessing the struggles of our loved ones in the midst of these challenges.

Driven by the belief that there are many pathways to healing and resilience, we came together with a shared vision. We recognized the transformative power of connecting with nature and the exhilaration of riding. These experiences offered us moments of clarity, peace, and connection that became invaluable tools in our own mental health journeys.

Our foundation was born from the conviction that we could harness the therapeutic benefits of dirtbike riding and outdoor adventures to combat mental health challenges. We understand that traditional methods may not resonate with everyone, so we sought to create a community centered around our shared love for these activities. Through our programs and initiatives, we aim to provide individuals facing mental health obstacles with alternative avenues for support and healing.

At Wide Open: Brody Hills Foundation, we're not just riding for ourselves; we're riding for a purpose greater than ourselves. We believe in the power of community, solidarity, and shared experiences to uplift and inspire. Together, we're forging a path forward—one that celebrates resilience, embraces adventure, and fosters connection.

Join us as we ride towards a future where mental health challenges are met with understanding, compassion, and boundless possibilities.

Honoring Brody

Broderick "Brody" Hills was an avid dirt biker and outdoorsman, but he was known for being kind to others, and never failing to reach out and offer support to someone who needed it. Brody tragically lost his battle with mental health and left behind a community mourning the loss of a beloved friend, son, and brother.

In honor of Brody's memory and the countless lives he touched, Wide Open: Brody Hills Foundation was established. Our foundation serves as a testament to Brody's enduring legacy and his unwavering commitment to helping others. We carry his spirit with us as we embark on a mission to support individuals who, like Brody, have faced the daunting challenges of mental health.

Brody's story is one of resilience, but it's also a reminder of the importance of extending a hand to those in need. Through the foundation bearing his name, we seek to provide hope, resources, and community to individuals navigating their own mental health journeys. We understand the complexities of mental health struggles and the profound impact they can have on individuals and their loved ones. In Brody's memory, we strive to create a space where no one feels alone in their battle against mental illness.

Join us as we ride and enjoy the outdoors in Brody's honor, united in our commitment to making a difference in the lives of others and spreading awareness about the importance of mental health support.

Our Mission & Goal

Our mission is to assist and support young adults struggling with depression or those affected by family-member suicide. To teach them how to ride motorcycles and engage in the outdoors while establishing a life-long teammate and mentor to help develop life skills and build camaraderie through the love of dirt bikes.

Our goal is that each person that interacts with Wide Open has a transformative experience and builds a community of friends, mentors, and life-long teammates that will be a support beyond the time with us.
